On accepte le comptant.=We accept cash.

On accepte pas le comptant.=We don't accept cash.

Comptant (m)=cash

"Comptant" is related to the verb "compter", meaning "to count".

You should use ‘’comptant’’, but you'll often hear passengers use the anglicism ‘’cash’’.
